Get startedA specialist winter feed, fodder beet is a crop typically grown due to its very high yields, good bulb storage ability and high feed quality. Both grazing and lifting types are available.

Fodder Beet
Grazing management and nutrition
With a long growing-season, fodder beet requires a high level of care during its establishment period, including a weed free and well-drained soil. However, unlike brassicas, fodder beet is not as suspectable to Club Root or Dry Rot and has a lower nitrogen requirement. Once established fodder beet is highly palatable, very high yielding and is well regarded for promoting great body condition.
